Rates listed below the room descriptions are per night, double occupancy, (room and sales taxes not included) and are subject to change. Rates include breakfast. We can accommodate a third adult in some rooms for an additional charge of $15 or $20 in Studio or the Annex. Corporate rates are available Sunday through Thursday.

A deposit is required to confirm the room. Arrangements for a deposit will be discussed at time of booking. Reservations are confirmed in writing upon receipt of deposit. Cash or personal checks are preferred. We gladly accept MasterCard, VISA and American Express.


We are a non-smoking inn for the comfort of all of our guests. Sorry, no pets. Children are welcome under special arrangement, please let us know of your needs in advance. There is a nominal charge for the additional occupancy. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. Check-out is 11:00 a.m. Arbor House is also handicap accessible.

Our Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation at least 7 days prior to your visit, we will refund your deposit.  If it is within 7 days, a gift certificate for the deposit will be issued to be used at Arbor House at a later date.  Less than 24 hour notice forfeits deposit.  *There is a $20  handling fee  for all cancellations.

Directions

When coming from Milwaukee (from the east) on I94, take the 90 east exit.  From 90 take the first exit, which is Madison 12/18 west. Take the tenth exit from 12/18 which is Midvale Blvd. Turn right onto Midvale and an immediate right at the first stop light, which is Nakoma Road.  After eight blocks, Nakoma becomes Monroe Street. We are just beyond the first traffic light on the corner of Monroe and Copeland. When coming from Chicago (from the south) take I 90 to the Madison 12/18 west exit. Follow directions earlier stated from 12/18 west.

From the west on Highway 12, exit Midvale Boulevard, turn left.  The next block is Nakoma, turn right onto Nakoma.  The inn is about eight blocks ahead just beyond the Glenway traffic light.

From the Dane County Airport, take a left on to Packers Avenue.  Eventually, Packers Ave. becomes Gorham Street and Gorham becomes University Avenue.  Veer left onto Old University Ave.  Take the first left onto Breese Terrace.  Turn right onto Monroe.  Proceed one mile, right on Copeland.

From Iowa,  take Highway 151. As you approach Highway 12/18, proceed under the overpass 1 block. Turn right onto Nakoma Road about 8 blocks. Turn left onto Copeland Street.

Arbor House is a healthy, ecologically-minded and special place--ideal for a business retreat, a family reunion, or a long weekend with a group of friends.  The inn is within walking distance of Lake Wingra, just a few blocks from Edgewood College and one mile from Camp Randall Stadium.  Biking, nature trails, bird watching, swimming, golfing, sailing, canoeing, cross-country skiing and the zoo are virtually at our doorstep.

For our corporate guests, we extend two levels of corporate discount rates: $95 and $130.  This applies to single occupancy, Sunday through Thursday evenings, traveling on business.  Arbor House consistently is a a haven for business travel.
